I love this place! How good is the coffee? What score did you give it?
Hopefully you also gave this place a 20/20, as it is run by the same lovely people at Apte :)
those breakfasts look amazing..truly great photos on a truly great blog
Is breaky not the greatest thing every to have been invented.
Can't wait for the weekend, a coffee and a big fat breaky, might have to try this place out!
Cheers, Brett.
I am a Sydney girl and this place to me is quintessentially Melbourne. I love it! The staff are warm, friendly and efficient and the French Toast is heaven on your lips. I take every visitor from Sydney here and have also taken all my friends and apart from the odd complaint about having to wait for a table as it gets so busy on the weekends everyone I leave with feels about Liar Liar the same as I do. You won’t find me anywhere else other than here for breakfast on the weekend.
The coffee is good. I always get the fruit toast. Boring I know.
The Honest Con Man
Went out of our way to get some latte's last weekend from Liar Liar, extremely disappointed! Coffee tasted like stale poo. Couldn't even drink it. What a waste.
"Stale poo"? As apposed to fresh poo? Oh, how dissapointing for you. You obviously wouldn't know a good coffee if you fell in one. I have been going there for over 6 months and have found the coffee to be excellent every time.
Well Liar Liar does give a double shot in their coffee as standard.
We were informed by the owner after our soy cappuccino did indeed taste like 'stale poo'.
However he was more than happy to replace it and after having tried our 'stale poo' himself he agreed it was not right.
Very friendly place! Love the vinyl.
