QF804, Melbourne to Canberra
Aaaah, yes, the joys of travelling on a "full service" airline. You don't pay top dollar for no good reason. In addition to treating you like a terrorist and making you suffer through endless delays "due to the late arrival of the in-bound aircraft" (as if that were someone else's fault), they serve you breakfast: a plastic tub of Lite 'n' Tasty; a mini-muffin; a banana; and coffee. And it's all included in the price of your ticket. Can someone please explain to me why anyone gives a toss that Qantas is being sold off to a bunch of foreigners?

Egads! Is that all they serve for breakfasts on qantas? I've flown this route prob. 4-5 times in the last couple of months and i've had the same light & tasty cereal, the saccharine-sweet ski flavoured yoghurt and likewise blueberry muffin every bloody single time. in the grand scheme of things though it could be worse...they could be serving vulcanised rubber that's meant to pass for an omelette :P
It may be the same boring tastless food but I much prefer to fly with Qantas than Virgin. eeeek
I am pleased to report that on QF416 Melbourne to Sydney on Friday 4 May 2007, contrary to all expectations of foil topped plastic "bowl" of sultana bran, I was served a fancy bacon and egg mcmuffin (and yes the "yoghurt" was still there). It was almost as good as a real mcmuffin! I'll be flying again on Wednesday so we'll see if this was an aberration or a full blown catering policy change!
There is one all the more thing to know about. It is conceivable that your bank may get in touch with you offering to decrease or even discount your obligation on the off chance that you acknowledge the proposition from them there and afterward. Cash Advance San diego
