Alas, no, these evils rings of carb-fat-n-sugar are in fact the spoils of a visit to Sydney... I think KK is coming to Melbourne, but not yet open to my knowledge.
I've yet to try one of those!
KK is apparently going to open their first melbourne store in of all places, Narre Warren!
I also recently tasted my first Krispy creme imported direct from Sydney, having heard all the hype I had very high expectations, seeing them I was very disapointed & thought 'what could all the fuss possibly be about' as they look quite boring & plain. I then tasted & was converted, heavenly! And by the way I would not call Nare Warren as being in Melbourne.
They were giving them away (literally) in QV about a month ago. I guess they're trying to build up the hype before an assault on Melbourne. But not everyone is a fan.

They are not bad, but in my expert opinion not the best of the Krispy Kreme doughnuts...indeed Krispy Kreme's non-glazed filled doughnuts are decidedly average... I recommend the Glazed Cruller however!

It's official... as of today, KK is open in Melbourne. Make that Fountain Gate. Somewhere in Narre Warren. It's even got a drive-through.
24/7 drive thru and open sun to thursday 5.30am until 11pm in store and 5.30am until 1am fri and saturday
